Pejalan Nagari Festival is not a race. It’s a journey filled with beautiful nature of Ngarai Sianok Maninjau National Geopark, authentic culture of Minangkabau, unseen parts of Bukittinggi and the heritage area of Koto Gadang. Our Saturday’s walk is about the city and the village life while our Sunday’s walk is more about the serene nature of Ngarai Sianok Maninjau National Geopark. Kagé Sumbar was founded in March 2022 as a social enterprise focused on preserving Koto Gadang Heritage Village and its surroundings through their signature activities including walking tours & trekkings. In 2025, Kagé was part of the think tank of this event previously known as Pejalan Nagari Walk.
